Fried Apples

Fried apples, with a tip of a hat to the late Jeff Smith who kept people cooking in the days of antennas.

Koda\’s Fried Apples

4 large Ambrosia apples
1/4 cup real Maple Syrup
2 tablespoonsful stick butter
water

Core and cut apples into 8 sections then peel.
Dilute 1/4 cup maple syrup with about 1/2 cup water
Melt butter
Add everything to a coverable pan about 12 inch x 3 inch
Cook covered until apples are soft. Remove cover and cook down until
solution is thick and apples fry.
Serves about 3 good servings plus a little for the dog.
