Another anniversary month is passing for this blog, it has been 14 years now.  The site was up for renewal and I was going to erase it, the Pixelpost code is probably a decade old now, having been abandoned by the developers.  Mike Adkins has offered to try to convert it to WordPress and so I bought a 30 day extension to see if it works.  I\’ll try to post regularly these next few weeks and if you are still one of the very few visitors, don\’t be surprised if you get a parked page next month.  You\’ll know the attempt did not work.

I\’ve enjoyed the blogging platform, it\’s more like writing or singing in an empty room with a few folks passing by and pausing at the door.  In the end, you really do things like this for yourself mainly.  Or at least you should.  A friend once gave me this tiny book, a real treasure that I read from time to time, and it carried a message that your art needs a home if you are to survive and continue.  This has been a good one.

Here is another shot of a life size pottery piece I photographed a few years ago.  Last month, I believe, we were in Lexington and picked up some clay and I had quite a wait, which is a good thing.  Always happy to see small businesses thrive and that lends time to explore with the camera.

 Fingers are crossed!
